Is Curriculum.School an MIS?
No. Curriculum.School is a planning, modelling and benchmarking tool, and it doesn't replace your MIS. It answers the questions your MIS can't: whether the curriculum is covered, what the staffing really costs, and how the plan compares.
Does it work for primary and secondary schools?
Yes, both. Primary planning is class-led; secondary planning is organised around faculties and subjects. The workflows, matrices and benchmarks adapt to the phase of each school.
How long does setup take?
We do it, not you. Send us raw exports from the systems you already use and we configure the platform around them, from a single school to a whole trust. There is no implementation project to staff and nobody to second to it. Your structure, curriculum and staff are in place before your first session, and each new year rolls forward from what is already there.
What does it cost?
A school licence is £499, a consultant licence is £499, and organisation-wide pricing for trusts and local authorities is bespoke. Every plan includes the AI Companion.
Can I model staffing changes before committing to them?
Yes, that is the core of the product. Create as many staffing scenarios as you need per academic year (current, budget-reduction, growth), compare them side by side, and mark one active when a decision is made.
What costs are included for each member of staff?
Gross salary, employer National Insurance, employer pension, TLR, SEN allowance and other allowances, rolled up into a true total cost and total hours per person, so scenario totals reflect what the payroll will actually bear. Bespoke forecast pay scales, in-year pay scale amendments and automated maternity leave costing are all handled, so the numbers hold up as the year moves.
How do the benchmarks work?
Metrics like teacher contact ratio, pupil–teacher ratio and average class size are benchmarked by phase, region (including London variants) and academic year, so every number comes with context.
Who sees what in a trust?
The platform is multi-tenant by organisation, and access can be restricted to specific schools. Trust leaders see the roll-up; school users see their own school.
Is our data secure?
Staff and financial fields are encrypted at rest, accounts support optional two-factor authentication, and an SSO login path is available. Access is scoped per organisation and per school.
Can we get our data out?
Yes. Deployment matrices and reporting export to CSV and XLSX, so governors, finance teams and auditors can work with the numbers in the tools they already use.
How does organisation pricing work?
Trusts and local authorities get a bespoke agreement sized to their estate, users, schools and scenarios are set to fit. Book a demo and we'll price it for your size.
